Trying to learn how to photograph the landscape

There is a lot more to it than just pointing the camera and pressing the shutter button...

I still have much to learn about making interesting landscape photographs.

Earl Nottingham got me started and I thank him for getting me on the right track.
I must not forget to thank David Caton and Bill Zaner for all that I've learned by watching them at work and looking at their finished pictures.
The real fun is yet to come, making the pictures.
