While it was too hot to really get out and hike the trails in August, while driving the Ross Maxwell it occurred to me that there is a great deal of opportunity to photograph the unusual landscape to the Big Bend during the day light hours.
It is great to wait to the light to be that perfect glowing wonderfulness that you can only get just before sunrise and sunset, there' lots of work to be done during "normal business hours".
I'm ready to be there.
But first, a trip to Michigan for Mom's 87th. birthday.
