What we "produce" and when we produce it is an open question, but we're having a good time doing it and in the end that's all that really matters.

East 13th Street, 1955, Tri-x, David Vestal
"August 1955. I was Ralph Steiner's assistant during business hours and living on New York's East 12th.Street in what later became the East Village. It had no name then. On my way home I passed this Italian festival on the next street. I went there every night while it lasted, and tried out a new film called Tri-X. It seemed pretty good. I don't know what to say about the picture, except that it helped me learn that I find better pictures than I could ever make up." David Vestal
