We're coming to the end of a wonderful trip...

Cathy and I are in Dallas today and will head home tomorrow.
We got to town about noon and made our first stop at the Taco Joint, it was packed. http://thetacojoint.com/
The wait in the line to order was about 15 minutes. Amazing!!!
Jeff and Cory certainly have read the public mood correctly. They are selling high quality food at a great price and excuse me for saying, the public is eating it up.
As far as the trip is concerned, we had a great time. Weather was wonderful, food was terrific and we met some wonderful people. Had dinner at Paquals with Alan Arken and met Dom Imus at the airport in Alburquerque when we where picking up Gail. Neither Alan or Don had much to say.
For me the best part of the trip was the 2 hour visit with one of the World's Masters of Photography, Willian Clift. http://www.williamclift.com/
I've been a fan of his work ever since he spoke at the Houston Center for Photography in the 1980s.
Thanks to a lady at the Photoeye bookstore and the purchase of an early edition book and photogravure, I had a chance to visit with Mr. Clift.
In short it was a very inspirational visit and wonderful experience. He has made some of the most beautiful photographs I have seen.
